The men’s and women’s basketball teams both wore this specific script throughout the 1970s and 1980s. In 2012, the men’s team wore the script as part of a throwback uniform honoring Pepperdine’s 75th anniversary, and the team’s student section, the Riptide, received replica jerseys as a specialty giveaway.
